Callie Chee was named the overall winner, Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographer 2020. She also won the Travel category. A massive congratulations to all the other category winners, runners-up, and finalists – all of whom are listed below.
Along with the highly coveted title of Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographer 2020, Chee takes home the grand prize – a Fujifilm X-T3 and XF18-55mm lens valued at $3,298, from our major sponsor, Fujifilm, along with $1,500 cash. Recognition and congratulations must also go to the overall runner-up, and winner of the Portrait category, Aimee Lipscombe, whose work was lauded by the judges. Third place overall went to Federico Rekowski, winner of the Landscape category. Winner of our newly introduced category, Single Shot, was Martin Von Stoll.
In 2020 the total prize pool for Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers was worth over $26,000, with $18,500 in prizes from our category sponsors and cash prizes of $8,500.
