The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers has taken action against an Australian member of the organisation to disqualify all images entered in the competitions, remove the Fellowship distinction, and terminate their membership.

WPPI has taken action to strip one of their members of all past awards, and ban them from entering any WPPI competition for five years.

The AIPP has disqualified an image by Lisa Saad submitted into their national awards, the APPAs. It's likely that Saad will also be stripped of her title of 2018 AIPP Australian Commercial Photographer of the Year.
